Eliot Creek

This is most likely the sandstone ridge on which Frank Jardine &
his companions crossed the flooded Eliot in March 1865 with the cattle to follow what they then believed to be the Escape River.
In his journal Jardine wrote that the stream was five feet (1.5m) deep.
