Somerset

The explorer Kennedy never made it to Someset. He was speared & died several miles south of Somerset near the shores of the Escape River. His companion the Aboriginal Jachey Jackey managed to make it & was instrumental in saving two members of the expedition who were left behind farther down the coast at Weymouth Bay.
