Jardine River

"Camp 83, Bloodwood". In his journal Frank Jardine wrote that the blaze for marking camp 83 was made on a bloodwood tree immediately after crossing a small sandy creek. When I followed his track according to the journal I came upon this Bloodwood with a definite scar which could possibly be from that blaze.
