Cumberland & Hibernia Passages

Cumberland Passage across east-west with Hibernia Passage branching off to the South. These are deep waters, averaging 70 m. The coral growth stops abruptly at 25-30 m & the slopes continue to a mixed muddy/sandy rubble bottom. Pilot whales are often seen here as are the occasional whale shark.
